Sarah Beth, a senior at Franklinton High School, loved her film shots from the sunflower field senior session that she jumped at the opportunity to do some more in an otherwise insignificant field just outside of Franklinton, Louisiana. With fall colors prevailing, I asked her to dress in black to add contrast with the colors of the background, and she NAILED it with her outfit. We shot one roll of Fuji 400H and one roll of Ilford Delta 3200 (see the black and white photos here). We didn't even have to move around all that much and changed up her pictures by changing angles.

Let's face it. You just won't get these kinds of tones in an image with a digital camera. That's why film is so awesome! Drop me a line if you'd love to have some senior portraits like these made for you.
